Accepting Payment on Mobile

Modified on Thu, 7 May at 7:22 AM

Overview

The Punchey mobile app allows you to accept payments directly from your tablet or mobile device, making it easy to process transactions while working in the field, at events, or outside of a traditional checkout station.

You can accept payments in multiple ways using the mobile app, including:

  • Generating a bill from an appointment or booking

  • Creating and processing a new invoice directly from the app

Why Is This Important?

Using mobile payments helps your business stay flexible and efficient by allowing staff to process transactions from anywhere. Mobile checkout can help:

  • Speed up the payment process for customers

  • Reduce the need to return to a stationary register

  • Improve customer experience during field services or mobile operations

  • Allow staff to create invoices and collect payments on the spot

  • Keep bookings and payments organized in real time

Before accepting payments on mobile, make sure your mobile device, hardware, and mobile register are properly configured.
